| I guess I should add blogging to my list of things that I don't have time to do. It have been almost a year. I have taken several college classes, received a promotion, of sorts, and been told I will be a grandma later in the year. I work too much, eat too much and sleep too little. I think that about covers it.

| Oh how time flies. The summer is nearly over and the fall will soon be upon us. Schools are being to open to students once again. We had a couple days of fall like days. It was cool and cloudy one day and rainy the next. It is to be hot again in a day or two. It is still true..."wait a little bit, the weather will change". It have always been that way in the Mid West. The store ads have changed to begin on Sunday instead of Monday. Since I am in charge of putting up the signs and making sure that they scan properly, I am now working every Sunday AM. So I am now attending church on Sunday PM on a regular basis. I really need that time. I am looking into getting the recording of the AM service so I can at least hear it even if I am not there. I had two days off in a row two weeks ago, so I took the opportunity to visit my oldest son and wife and the WI State Fair. I lived there for 10 years and this is now my first visit to the State Fair. I had a wonderful time. The youngest son came in on my last day there, so I had some time with him as well. Then he came to our house for a very brief visit on his way to and from a wedding in MI. I enjoyed every little min. I had to chat with him. Time flies when your having fun. Keep your eyes on the Lord at all times and in His Word. | | |
| I survived my first classes in college. I managed to attend the orientation class and completed it for a Pass grade. The other class was Written Communications II. This class involved a lot of reading and writing. My final grade was an A. May be I can actually do this! The fall classes will be more telling on that line. General Psychology and Human Relations in Business are the next step in my mental stretching. Class Voice just sounds like fun and a good refresher class. I am hoping to be able to continue full time at my job at well. Ron and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary this summer. We took a trip to Niagara Falls, Canada and Hershey, PA. We had a great time away. Our work schedules do not allow us much time together so a full week together was really different and enjoyable. I miss it already. I don't really know much else right now. I'll have to update this again soon. Keep in touch. | | |
| I am signed up for summer classes. I start in May. I am excited on one hand and wondering what in the world I am doing on the other. Everything seems to have fallen in place and I have had great counsel on refining my goals. I will persueing an Associates Degree Liberal Studies with a concentration in music. I love music and have not really done anything with it for some time. I would like to be able to use it in ministry within the church. I want to be more knowledgeable about it and more skilled in using it. I am also looking forward to mental stimulation through study. I did not go to college before and now that I have a goal in mind, it is time to settle in. The Lord will have the final say in it all, but....away we go!!!! | | |
| I had the privelege of attending a choral festival this last weekend. My soul was refreshed with the wonderful music and good words about God and his love for us and our praise to Him. I now have a deep desire to go to college for a music performance degree. I have never had the opportunity to attend college and this seems to be the time. Now the question is is where, when and how to pay for it. So many questions. I will be looking to the Lord for guidance to know the answer to those questions. He knows just what He has in mind. I will be walking out in faith; hopefully not too shaky of faith, though. So Here Goes!!! | | |
